Valorant FPS boost: the best settings (Vanguard-safe)
Valorant is light, so most PCs can reach very high FPS. The goal is low input delay and stable frame times. Change these settings in the game menu, never with tools that touch Valorant's files or memory.
1. Graphics quality
| Setting | Recommended |
|---|---|
| Display mode | Fullscreen |
| Multithreaded rendering | On |
| Material / Texture / Detail quality | Low (Texture Medium if you like) |
| UI quality | Low |
| Vignette | Off |
| VSync | Off |
| Anti-aliasing | None or MSAA 2x |
| Anisotropic filtering | 4x |
| Improve clarity / Experimental sharpening | Off |
| Bloom / Distortion / Cast shadows | Off |
| NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency | On + Boost |
2. Frame rate limit
Turn Limit FPS always off, or set it a little above your monitor's refresh rate if your FPS jump a lot. Make sure your monitor runs at its full refresh rate in Windows display settings.
3. Windows tweaks that are safe
- Game Mode and Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling on
- "Enhance pointer precision" off
- Latest graphics driver
- Fewer programs in the background
EMP Tweaks and Valorant
EMP Tweaks never changes Valorant's files because of Vanguard. It optimizes Windows, network and GPU settings, which helps every game, and it measures your real FPS. Nothing runs inside the game.
Questions
Can Windows tweaks get me banned in Valorant?
Changing Windows settings is normal and allowed. What gets you in trouble are tools that inject into Valorant or edit its files. EMP Tweaks does neither.
Why doesn't EMP change Valorant's settings for me?
Vanguard watches Valorant's files closely. To be safe, EMP leaves them alone and you set the few options above in the menu.
